Pinyin (Chinese Pinyin / Hanyu Pinyin) is the most widely used Mandarin romanization system using in China, Singapore, and many other countries and areas. The Library of Congress uses Pinyin to catalog its collection in Chinese, most contemporary dictionaries use Pinyin to spell Chinese names, etc.

Pinyin is also the most efficient and easiest tool for both Mandarin speakers or non- Mandarin speakers to learn Chinese ( Mandarin).
